Police have arrested five people after they were seen driving a stolen vehicle in Werribee this morning.
It’s alleged the offenders were observed driving the stolen vehicle on Heaths Road at about 9am.
Police intercepted the car and arrested four offenders.
A 16-year-old boy fled from the vehicle into a nearby shopping centre.
Police cordoned the area and located the male hiding inside a change room inside a store.
The vehicle was stolen from a Truganina home last night in an aggravated burglary.
A 17-year-old Tarneit boy,16-year-old Altona girl,16-year-old Pakenham girl,16-year-old Tarneit boy and a 17-year-old Hoppers Crossing girl are assisting police with their enquiries.
