Police from the Dandenong Frontline Tactical Unit arrested four people in Dandenong North early Wednesday morning.
Officers were patrolling when they observed a vehicle allegedly bearing stolen plates enter a property on Coleman Court about 2am.
Police then observed a second vehicle attend the property which they intercepted and searched.
Police located approximately 15 grams of methylamphetamine in the vehicle.
A 41-year-old man from Noble Park was arrested and charged with possess methylamphetamine and possess a prescription drug.
He has been bailed to appear at Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on 8 November.
Officers also executed a search warrant at a property on Coleman Court where they seized a further eight sets of allegedly stolen number plates.
A 33-year-old man from Dandenong North was arrested in relation to the stolen plates and is currently being interviewed by police.
While police were at the property a 26-year-old woman of no fixed address was arrested on outstanding warrants and remanded in custody.
A 20-year-old male from Pakenham was also arrested on an outstanding warrant and bailed to appear at Latrobe Valley Magistrates Court on 26 November.
These arrests are part of Operation Tidal which utilises a highly visible police presence across the Casey, Greater Dandenong and Cardinia Police Service Areas (PSAs).
Tidal is an ongoing operation and police will continue to focus resources where they’re most needed
