Homicide Squad detectives have arrested a 32-year-old man following the discovery of a woman’s body in Melbourne CBD this morning.
The woman’s body was located at the intersection of Bourke Street and Celestial Avenue just after 6.30am.
A post mortem is being conducted this evening to determine her cause of death however detectives are currently treating the death as suspicious.
Detectives arrested the Melbourne man this afternoon – he is currently in custody, assisting investigators with their enquiries.
