Police from the Public Order Response Team have arrested two people after they were located with a car full of allegedly stolen goods yesterday afternoon.
It’s alleged officers observed a suspicious vehicle and occupants in the back corner of a deserted public carpark in Sanctuary Way, Ascot Vale about 4.15pm on 2 May.
The vehicle was full of what is alleged to be brand new electrical stolen goods worth a significant amount of money.
The driver a 29-year-old Craigieburn man and his passenger, a 21-year-old St Albans woman, were arrested and have been charged with handle stolen goods.
Both have been released pending summons to appear before a Magistrates’ Court at a later date.
