Homicide Squad detectives have arrested three people this morning as part of their investigation into the death of a man located in Bunbartha last week.
A 38-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman, both from Shepparton, and a 24-year-old Mooroopna man were all arrested in Shepparton this morning.
The trio will now be interviewed by police.
Today’s arrests follow an incident on 24 December where emergency services were called to a car fir on Loch Garry Road about 10am.
After the fire was extinguished, the body of a man was located inside the vehicle.
The man has since been identified as a 19-year-old Wangaratta man.
The investigation remains ongoing and detectives are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the fire or has further information about the man’s death.
