Three people were arrested after failing to stop at an RBT and crashing into a home at West Richmond in the early hours of this morning.
Southern District patrols were conducting a driver testing station on Marion Road at Netley about 1am on Wednesday 21 August when an approaching vehicle failed to stop.
The Holden Statesman was followed at a distance by an unmarked patrol car, who saw the car clip a median strip and crash heavily into the front of a house on Marion Road, West Richmond.
The crash caused a gas leak from the home and the five occupants had to be evacuated. SES had to be called in to shore up the building.
The driver and two passengers attempted to run from the scene but were arrested a short distance away.
The driver, an 18-year-old Port Adelaide woman, a 21-year-old man from Port Adelaide and a 16-year-old girl from Semaphore were taken by SAAS to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where they were treated for minor injuries.
All three are expected to be charged with illegal use of a motor vehicle and the driver will be further charged with driving without due care.
The vehicle was stolen from a West Lakes address earlier in the week. It was towed from the scene for forensic examination.
