Police Air Wing and Dandenong Highway Patrol officers assisted Springvale Uniform police in the swift arrest of three teens after a vehicle was stolen in Noble Park yesterday.
It’s alleged the three teens stole a white Hyundai van from the driveway of a property in Leonard Avenue on Friday, 24 December about 5.30pm.
Local police quickly attended after the victim noticed his vehicle in Yarraman Road, Noble Park about 8pm.
It’s alleged the teens scampered from the stolen vehicle, jumped fences and scaled roofs after police arrived. They were arrested in the vicinity of Newman Avenue after the Air Wing guided local police to their location.
A 16-year-old boy and a 14-year-old boy have each been charged with theft of motor vehicle and commit an indictable offence whilst on bail.
A 13-year-old girl was charged with theft of motor vehicle.
The teens have been bailed to appear at court at a later date.
