Two people have been arrested after a pursuit in the northern suburbs.
It will be alleged that just before 7.40pm on Sunday 29 December, police attempted to stop a blue Holden sedan in Chelmsford Street at Craigmore, when the car sped off.
Police pursued the car briefly before terminating the pursuit.
PolAir was called in to follow the vehicle as it headed east towards the Adelaide Hills.
The vehicle eventually stopped in Wakefield Place in Kersbrook.
The information was relayed to officers on the ground who quickly arrested the driver, a 20-year-old man from Parafield Gardens and his passenger, a 19-year-old Munno Para West man.
The driver will face charges including engaging in a police pursuit and the passenger will be charged with breach of bail.
Detectives from Operation Meld are investigating the incident and further charges are likely.
It is expected the suspects will be refused bail to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Monday
