Police have arrested two men after a crime spree in Carrum Downs and Frankston last night.
It is understood a group inside an allegedly stolen Mini Cooper attended a petrol station on McMahons Road, Frankston and stole petrol about 10.30pm.
It is alleged the same group were involved in a theft and an assault at a restaurant on Halls Road, Carrum Downs about 11pm.
Police spotted the Mini Cooper on Cranbourne-Frankston Road before it entered a car park on Cranbourne Road, Frankston about midnight.
Officers deployed stop sticks however the car avoided the device and continued onto Karingal Drive.
A police car attempted to intercept the Mini Cooper on Karingal Drive before it allegedly travelled on the wrong side of the road.
With police no longer following the car, it travelled along Cranbourne-Frankston Road before it collided head on with a Hyundai sedan.
The female Hyundai driver was transported to hospital for assessment.
Police swiftly arrested a 23-year-old Frankston man and a 24-year-old Morwell man nearby about 12.30am.
They are assisting police with their enquiries.
