Police charge driver over Ki Ki fatal crash

A teenager has been charged over a fatal crash at Ki Ki last month.

Emergency services were called to a serious crash between two cars and a truck on the Dukes Highway, Ki Ki about 6.45pm on Friday 26 May.

Sadly, a 19-year-old Keith woman, who was the single occupant of a Mazda station wagon, died at the scene.

An 18-year-old Murray Bridge man who was driving the Holden ute was taken to the Murray Bridge hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

The 35-year-old male truck driver from Burton was not injured.

Today, Friday 9 June, Major Crash investigators arrested the 18-year-old man and charged him with cause death by dangerous driving.

He was bailed to appear in the Murray Bridge Magistrates Court on 14 August.
