Five people have now been charged after a shooting at Roselands earlier this week.
About 10.40pm (Tuesday 24 May 2022), emergency services were called to a unit block on Canterbury Road and found a 30-year-old man with an injury to his right hand.
He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to hospital for treatment. He remains in hospital a stable condition.
Officers attached to Campsie Police Area Command established a crime scene and arrested two women, who remain before the court on charges of conceal a serious indictable offence, while a man is due in court next month charged with custody of a knife and being armed with intent.
Following inquiries, a 31-year-old man was yesterday arrested at Day Street Police Station and charged with reckless wounding, and affray.
The Burwood man was bail refused to appear before Central Local Court later today (Thursday 26 May 2022).
A 23-year-old man was also arrested yesterday at a service station on Waterloo Road, Greenacre.
He was taken to Campsie Police Station, where he was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, conceal serious indictable offence of other, and affray.
The Greenacre man was refused bail to appear before Bankstown Local Court today.
