Homicide Squad detectives have charged a man following the death of a woman in Langwarrin this morning.
Emergency services responded to reports that a woman had been injured at a Wood Duck Court address about 6.30am.
The 59-year-old Langwarrin woman was declared deceased at the scene.
Officers arrested a 63-year-old man at the address who is known to the woman.
The Langwarrin man has been charged with murder and will face Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today.
