Box Hill Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team detectives have charged a man following a sexual assault in Mount Waverley last month.
Police will allege the man sexually assaulted a child during a tutoring session at a business on Hamilton Place on Saturday, 13 July.
A 56-year-old Mount Waverley man was arrested at his address on Monday, 15 July.
He has been charged with two counts of sexual assault on a child under 16 years, and was bailed to appear before Ringwood Magistrates’ Court on 13 September.
