Major Drug Squad detectives have charged a man and seized cash, heroin and other drug paraphernalia following an investigation into large commercial drug trafficking.
Police executed a search warrant at an address in Bentleigh early yesterday morning.
They subsequently seized a significant quantity of cash, approximately 10kg of heroin, a pill press, cash counting machines and other drug trafficking paraphernalia.
A 48-year-old Bentleigh man was charged with traffick large commercial quantity of heroin, possess property reasonable suspected of being proceeds of crime and possess pill press, amongst other charges.
He has been remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court this morning.
