A man will face court tomorrow following a stabbing on the States Central Coast.
About 2:40pm today (Monday 20 November 2023) emergency services were called to Avery Street, Killarney Vale following reports a man had been stabbed.
Officers attached to Tuggerah Lakes Police District arrived to find a 55 year-old man with neck injuries.
NSW Ambulance Paramedics treated him at the scene before taking him to Gosford Hospital in a stable condition.
Police arrested a 36-year-old man at the scene and taken to Wyong Police Station where he was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm (DV), wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, and custody of knife in public place – first offence.
He was refused bail to appear before Wyong Local Court tomorrow (Tuesday 21 November 2023).
