The WA Police Force have charged a 50-year-old man with over 60 offences after an extensive operation into his alleged offending.
It will be alleged the accused was involved in various criminal incidents across the metropolitan area, between June and October 2022.
An operation headed by Regional Investigation Unit was commenced to apprehend the man. This operation was supported by various policing units including:
• Regional Operations Group
• District Detectives
• Canine Section, and various other units.
Extensive investigative work was conducted to locate the man, including 127 search warrants being executed at 62 different houses across the metro area.
On Wednesday 19 October 2022, the man was arrested in South Perth, and was charged with 69 offences including:
• 15 counts of aggravated home burglary and commit
• 13 counts of steal motor vehicle
• 18 counts of stealing, and various other offences.
He appeared in Perth Magistrate’s Court today, 20 October 2022.
