Sex Assault Squad detectives have charged a 31-year-old man with a further offence relating to a new victim as part of their ongoing investigation into reported sexual assaults alleged against the man.
It will be alleged the man met the victim at a restaurant in Como in July 2017 before seeing him again whilst out at a nightclub in Northbridge several months later.
It will be alleged whilst the victim, a woman in her 20s, was on the dance floor with a friend, the man approached her from behind her and sexually assaulted her.
The 31-year-old man who is currently in prison has been charged with:-
• One count of Sexual Penetration without Consent.
He is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on 15 February 2023.
