Geraldton Detectives have charged a 46-year-old man as part of their ongoing investigation into an incident in Geraldton that occurred on Wednesday, 15 March 2023.
It will be alleged between 11.30am and 4pm, the man befriended a 12-year-old girl, supplied her with alcohol and took her to an abandoned building located on Fitzgerald Street where he sexually assaulted her.
The 46-year-old man from Rangeway is due to appear before the Geraldton Magistrates Court today, 24 March 2023, charged with:-
• Two counts of Sexual Penetration of a Child under 13 years; and
• One count of Aggravated Indecent Dealing of Child under 13 years.
