Homicide Squad detectives have charged six youths in relation to a fatal affray in Deer Park yesterday.
Emergency services were called to an incident on Neale Road shortly after 4pm on Tuesday, 16 June.
A 15-year-old Deer Park boy had been stabbed during the incident and died at the scene.
Six males were arrested a short time later and have subsequently been interviewed by police.
They include the following:
• Two 14-year-old St Albans boys;
• A 15-year-old Deer Park boy;
• A 16-year-old St Albans boy;
• A 15-year-old St Albans boy; and
• A 13-year-old Hoppers Crossing boy.
All six have been charged with violent disorder and affray, and will appear at a children’s court shortly.
The investigation into the incident remains ongoing and police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or has CCTV or dash-cam footage to come forward.
