Police charge teens after Dandenong North aggravated carjacking

Southern Metro Regional Crime Team detectives have charged two teenagers following an aggravated carjacking in Dandenong North over the weekend.

A 17-year-old Pakenham boy has been charged with aggravated carjacking, theft of motor vehicle, intentionally and recklessly cause injury, assault in company and assault with a weapon.

A 15-year-old Eumemmering boy has been charged with aggravated carjacking, theft of motor vehicle, affray and assault with a weapon.

The charges follow an alleged aggravated carjacking in the vicinity of a service station on Stud Road on Saturday 29 October just after 10pm.

The victim, a 53-year-old Reservoir man, sustained multiple stab wounds after his Porsche was stolen.

He was taken to hospital at the time of the incident where he remains in a stable condition.

His passengers, a 25-year-old Glenroy man and a 41-year-old Kilmore woman weren’t injured.

Police recovered the stolen Porsche in Queen Street, Melbourne, just after 3am on Sunday.

The teen duo has been remanded to appear before a children’s court at a later date.

A 22-year-old Cairnlea man who was also arrested has been released pending further inquiries.
