Three men have been charged after an alleged brawl in Sydney’s west.
About 11.15pm yesterday (Friday 29 November 2024), officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command responded to reports of a brawl near a fast-food restaurant on The Horsley Drive, Wetherill Park.
Police were told there were two groups of people allegedly fighting while armed with weapons.
Police attended and found a male, believed to be aged in his 20s, suffering wound to his leg.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated him at the scene before being taken to Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition for further treatment.
Officers were told one group had allegedly fled the scene in a car prior to police arrival.
Three men – two 18-year-olds and a 19-year-old – were arrested at the scene and taken to Fairfield Police Station.
The three men were charged with affray and granted conditional bail to appear at Fairfield Local Court on Thursday 18 December 2024.
