Brimbank Proactive Policing Unit officers have charged two teenagers following an alleged assault in St Albans on Monday.
It is alleged a 21-year-old male was approached by a group of teenagers at St Albans Railway Station about 3.45pm on 21 August.
Two of the males allegedly produced machetes and threatened the victim.
Police arrived quickly, but all parties involved had fled the scene.
Today, two boys aged 13 and 15 were arrested after a search warrant was executed in St Albans.
They were charged with affray, armed with criminal intent and posses controlled weapon.
Both have been bailed to appear before a children’s court at a later date.
A 14-year-old boy from Kealba was also arrested today and was issued an official caution in relation to the incident.
