Canning Vale Police have charged a 46 year old Camillo woman, who allegedly assaulted a 13 year old Umpire at a Australian Rules Junior Football match in Thornlie on Saturday 4 May 2019, with one count of Aggravated Assault. She has been summoned to appear at the Armadale Magistrates Court at a later date.
Inquiries in respect to this matter are ongoing with police requesting witnesses who observed the incident and have not been spoken to by police, or may have footage of the incident to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
Police are continuing enquiries and further analysis of footage of the incident with a view to possible charges of Disorderly Conduct in respect to the behaviour of other parties at the incident.
