Police charge woman with high-range PCA at Fairfield

A woman is due in court tomorrow charged with high-range drink-driving after being stopped at Fairfield.

Officers attached to Fairfield City Police Area Command were conducting stationary random breath testing on The Horsley Drive shortly before 1pm yesterday (Sunday 28 January 2024), when they stopped an SUV.

When the driver returned a positive roadside breath test, she was placed under arrest. A female passenger got out of the vehicle and allegedly became argumentative. When she failed to move-on as directed she, too, was arrested.

They were taken to Fairfield Police Station where the 30-year-old woman returned an alleged breath analysis reading of 0.299. She’s been charged with high-range PCA and her driving privileges in NSW have been suspended.

She was granted bail to appear in Fairfield Local Court tomorrow (Tuesday 30 January 2024).

The 29-year-old woman has been issued with a Future Court Attendance Notice (FCAN) for fail to comply with move-along direction.

She’s due to appear in Fairfield Local Court on Wednesday 21 February 2024.
