Police have released vision of three people as part of their investigation into the armed robbery of a Browns Plains pawnbroker yesterday afternoon.
Around 2.40pm (Sunday November 10), two men wearing high-visibility long-sleeve shirts and balaclavas attended the business on Grand Plaza Drive. One was armed with a shot-gun and the other with a small axe.
The man with the firearm threatened patrons and staff-members and demanded they get on the ground, whilst the second man moved towards the jewellery section and damaged several glass display cases.
The two men then stole a quantity of jewellery before running from the business to a waiting black Honda Civic bearing false Queensland registration plates “360 YQW”, which was driven by a third person.
The car was last seen turning from Grand Plaza Drive onto Browns Plains Road.
No one was injured as a result of the armed robbery.
Investigations continue.
