Ipswich Criminal Investigation Branch detectives are investigating the armed robbery of a fast food restaurant in Springfield Central last night, Sunday, October 9.
Around 9.40pm a man and woman entered the Main Street store, one was armed with a firearm and the other knife, and threatened customers before demanding money from staff.
The pair fled the store with a sum of cash and into the carpark to a waiting beige Ford Territory 4WD driven by a third person, bearing false Queensland registration plates 121-WL1.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
The woman is described as Caucasian, around 160cm tall with a solid build and a distinctive cursive writing tattoo above her left eyebrow. She was wearing a black hoodie and pants and a black face mask.
The man is described Caucasian, around 170cm tall with a slim build. He was wearing a navy long-sleeved shirt and pants, with a black face mask and beanie.
