Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman in Ascot Vale on 31 January.
Police were called to an address on Ormond Road just after 4pm after the deceased was located inside the property.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be established and the investigation is in its infancy.
