Investigations continue after two people died in a crash at Menai yesterday.
Emergency services were called to Alfords Point Road, at New Illawarra Road, about 4.40pm (Thursday 28 May 2020), after a Nissan Tida hatchback and a Toyota Hilux collided head on.
The driver of the Nissan, a man aged 23, and his female passenger, also aged 23, died when their vehicle collided head-on with the Toyota, being driven by a 46-year-old man.
He was taken to St George Hospital suffering a fractured wrist and rib injuries.
Officers from Sutherland Shire Police Area Command continue their inquiries and will prepare a report for the Coroner.
