Police are investigating a fatal crash in Meredith last night.
Emergency services responded to reports that a car had crashed into a tree on Meredith-Mount Mercer Road about 11.15pm.
The driver, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
The vehicle’s only passenger was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The exact circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be determined and the investigation is ongoing.
