Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal house fire in Beeac this morning.
Emergency services attended an address in Winston Street following reports that a house was on fire about 3.20am.
Sadly, a man who was pulled from the burning home died at the scene.
A woman who was also in the residence at the time of the fire was able to escape and raised the alarm.
Police and fire authorities are currently on scene and a crime scene has been set up.
Detectives from the Arson Squad have been notified and local detectives are heading to the scene.
