Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man in Morwell last night.
Police were called to an address in Maryvale Road about 9.20pm on Thursday, 30 January.
Officers entered the property and located a man in his 90s deceased inside the address.
During a search of the area a man was located nearby and taken into custody.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be established and the investigation is in its infancy.
