Police are investigating two armed robberies on the north side of Brisbane overnight where vehicles were stolen.
Just before 11pm, two men entered the carpark of a service station on Enoggera Road at Newmarket.
One of the men threatened a male staff member with a gun and demanded the keys to his car.
The pair then left the scene, one in the man’s Audi and the other in the Kluger they arrived in.
A short time later, a man was parking his car on Haig Street at Gordon Park when a man approached him, produced a gun and demanded his keys.
When he refused, he was assaulted and had his car keys and Mazda Three stolen.
The vehicle was last seen driving down Richmond Street.
Officers are investigating whether the two incidents, which occurred within 30 minutes of each other,
may be linked.
One of the men is described as Caucasian, in his early 20s, wearing a red t-shirt with a black picture on the front, with a short crew cut and large tattoo from his right elbow to wrist.
