Detectives from Frankston Crime Investigation Unit are appealing for public assistance to identify a man and woman following a series of thefts from motor vehicles and subsequent deceptions in Frankston and Seaford.
It’s believed the unknown offenders stole credit cards from a vehicle in Bondi Avenue Frankston between 8pm and midnight on 13 June.
About 12.05am the following morning the cards were used at a service station near the intersection of Golf Links Road and Frankston-Flinders Road to purchase cigarettes.
Shortly after this, they attended a second service station near the intersection of Beach Street and Nepean Highway in Seaford and again used the cards to purchase cigarettes.
Investigators believe the pair may have also been involved in a similar incident on 9 May, again stealing a credit card from a vehicle parked on Bondi Avenue before purchasing cigarettes and food.
Police have released images of a man and woman they believe can assist with their enquiries in relation to the incidents.
Both are perceived to be Caucasian appearance, aged in their 20s or early 30s, with dark hair.
Anyone with information or who recognises the pair is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report online at
