Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding a shooting which occurred in Carnegie this afternoon.
Officers were called to the intersection of Neerim Road about 2.15pm after reports a person had been shot.
Police attended and were unable to locate the victim.
A short time later, a man self-presented to the nearby hospital with what appears to be non-life threatening gunshot wounds.
