Police are investigating the cause of a woman’s injuries after was she rushed to the Royal Adelaide Hospital from an Athol Park address overnight.
Just after 2am on Wednesday 4 September, police and ambulance crews were called to a vacant home on Hanson Road near Athol Avenue, following reports of a woman with facial and other multiple injuries.
On arrival a 45-year-old woman was treated at the scene and then rushed to the Royal Adelaide Hospital in a serious condition, where she has undergone emergency surgery.
Police are currently speaking to a male friend who called emergency services.
The woman’s injuries are possibly linked to a car crash that occurred at Lockleys late on Monday night, where car collided with a building.
