An investigation is underway following a shooting in Sydney’s south-west this morning.
Just after 3am (Thursday 13 February 2020), emergency services were called to a property in Huntingdale Avenue at Lansvale, following reports a man had been shot.
On arrival, officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command found a 30-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his stomach.
He was taken to Liverpool Hospital in a serious condition.
A crime scene has been established and officers have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
