As part of an ongoing police investigation, police are seeking sightings of a black motor scooter/moped in the Rokeby/Howrah area between 4pm and 7pm yesterday.
It was reported to police that around 5.45pm three men riding a black motor scooter/moped stopped on Buckingham Drive and assaulted a 33-year-old man. The man was reportedly struck several times with a hammer, which has since been recovered by police. The victim received medical treatment and did not require hospital admission.
One man is currently in police custody assisting with enquiries, and two others have been identified and will be interviewed in relation to the incident.
