Moorabbin Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance as they investigate a burglary in Bentleigh where tools were stolen.
An unknown male offender jumped the gate of an address on South Road and entered a garage where he stole a tool bag full of tools and kitchen knives about 6.35am 1 December.
The man then climbed back over the fence and fled back onto South Road.
Police have released images and CCTV of a man they believe could assist in their investigation.
