Detectives from Southern District CIB are investigating a robbery at Plympton Park this afternoon.
About 1.25pmTuesday 9 April police were called to a Pharmacy on Marion Road after reports a man had entered, threatened staff with a small knife and demanded prescription medication.
Thankfully there were no physical injuries. The man was last seen running west on South Terrace Plympton. Police searched the area but have been unable to locate the man at this time.
The suspect is described as being about 180cm tall, slim, wearing blue jeans, a blue/grey hooded jumper, grey baseball cap, sunglasses and a surgical mask.
Detectives have linked this incident to another aggravated robbery that occurred at a Pharmacy on Dunrobin Road, Warradale, about 1.50pm on Thursday 4 April where a man of similar description entered demanded prescription medication before leaving the scene on foot. No weapon was produced during this incident and there were no physical injuries.
Police are urging Pharmacies in the area to be vigilant in relation to staff safety and any suspects fitting this description acting suspiciously near their businesses.
