Detectives are investigating a shooting incident at Redcliffe overnight.
Police were called just after 11pm to an Oconnell Street house after reports a man had sustained a gunshot wound to his leg.
First aid was rendered to the victim by police before he was transported to hospital.
The 23-year-old Redcliffe man remains in hospital in a stable condition with a single wound to his left leg.
Investigators are appealing for anyone with relevant vision or further information to contact police.
