Police from Greater Dandenong Crime Investigation Unit have charged a man following an alleged assault and robbery in Dandenong last month.
It is alleged a male offender threatened a 19-year-old man and attempted to force him to with draw money from an ATM on Stud Road.
He then assaulted the victim and stole personal items including his mobile phone.
The victim was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Yesterday, police from Dandenong Frontline Tactical Unit arrested a 19-year-old Pakenham man in Dandenong.
Greater Dandenong CIU members later executed a related search warrant at Coleman Court, Dandenong North.
The Pakenham man was charged with armed robbery and assault and will face Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today.
