Mandurah Detectives have arrested a 16-year-old boy as a result of their ongoing investigations into numerous burglaries in the Dudley Park and Greenfields area as well as an incident in Greenfields where a woman was held at knifepoint.
It is alleged on Thursday 24 October 2019, the youth forced entry into a home on Balwina Road, Greenfields and a 62-year-old woman in the home was threatened with a large knife. It is further alleged verbal threats were made to the woman and jewellery was forcibly removed from her neck, personal items were smashed and a sum of cash was stolen.
It is also alleged, the youth was involved in numerous home burglaries within the Greenfields and Dudley Park areas over 8 and 9 October and 24 October 2019.
The 16-year-old from Dianella has been charged with:-
• Six counts of Aggravated ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Burglary and Commit;
• Five counts of Stealing;
• Three counts of Attempted Aggravated ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Burglary with Intent;
• Aggravated Armed Robbery;
• Criminal Damage or Destruction to Property;
• Threaten to Kill; and
• Breach of Bail.
He is due to appear before the Perth Children’s Court today, 12 November 2019.
