Northern Territory Police have arrested an 18-year-old male following an alleged assault causing serious harm in Nakara yesterday.
At about 8:50pm on Thursday 2 April 2020, police responded to a report of a 20-year-old man being stabbed. Upon arrival, police located the victim with a stab wound to his abdomen.
The victim was conveyed to the Royal Darwin Hospital with serious injuries requiring surgery. He remains in a critical but stable condition.
The 18-year-old male was arrested and conveyed to the Palmerston Watch House. Serious Crime Squad detectives have charged this male with unlawfully causing serious harm.
Police bail has been refused.
