Fremantle Detectives investigating burglaries at camping and fishing stores in Jandakot, Myaree and Nedlands that occurred between 31 October and 16 November 2019, have arrested three people.
During the burglaries high end fishing reels valued at over $50,000 were stolen. As part of the investigation, Fremantle Detectives executed a search warrant at a home in Strode Avenue in Hamilton Hill where it is alleged detectives located and seized:-
• A quantity of fishing reels;
• Approximately 2 kilograms of Cannabis;
• Over $6,000 in cash,
• 3 Cannabis plants;
• 200 Cannabis seeds; and
• Various drug paraphernalia.
A 42-year-old man from Southern River will appear before the Fremantle Magistrates Court on 17 December 2019, charged with:-
3 x Burglary and commit;
4 x Stealing;
1 x Possess prohibited drug (Methylamphetamine);
1 x Criminal damage or destruction of property;
1 x Unlawful damage;
1 x Gains benefit by fraud; and
2 x Possessed any drug paraphernalia in or on which there was a prohibited drug or plant.
A 33-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman both of Hamilton Hill are due to appear before the Fremantle Magistrates Court on 10 December 2019.
He was charged with:
• 1 x Possession of prohibited drugs with intent to sell or supply (Cannabis);
• 1 x Cultivate a prohibited drug with intent to sell or supply;
• 1 x Possess a prohibited plant;
• 1 x Possession of stolen or unlawfully obtained property;
• 1 x Receiving;
• 1 x Possessed any drug paraphernalia in or on which there was a prohibited drug or plant; and
• 1 x Possessed a prohibited drug.
She was charged with:
• 1 x Possession of prohibited drug with intent to sell or supply (Cannabis);
• 1 x Cultivate a prohibited drug with intent to sell or supply;
• 1 x Possession of stolen or unlawful obtained property;
• 2 x possessed any drug paraphernalia in or on which there was a prohibited drug or plant;
• 1 x Possess a prohibited plant;
• 1 x Possessed a prohibited drug; and
• 1 x Possess prohibited drug namely, dexamphetamine.
