Detectives from the Serious Crime task Force have today arrested a suspect in a hotel robbery at Virginia.
Police will allege that just after 2am on Wednesday 9 October, three men forced open the doors to the gaming room of a hotel on Old Port Wakefield Road.
Two of the men were armed with handguns while a third was armed with a metal bar. The trio threatened staff before leaving with an amount of cash, in a stolen silver Hyundai hatchback.
Today (Monday 4 November), detectives arrested a 42-year-old Glynde man and charged him with aggravated robbery. He was refused bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court tomorrow.
The first suspect was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery on October 15, and has since been remanded in custody to appear in court at a later date.
A third suspect remains outstanding, and police are following positive lines of enquiry.
