A 31-year-old man has been charged with 11 drug related offences after a large quantity of methylamphetamine, cocaine, heroin, MDMA, cannabis, liquid fantasy, ammunition and approximately $30,000 in cash was allegedly located in a house at Rochedale South.
Around 6pm on Saturday, January 29 the Logan District Tactical Crime Squad executed a search warrant at the Rochedale South property where it is alleged a total of 1.86 kilograms of methylamphetamine was located in a series of clip seal bags, a quantity of which was concealed in a cannister within a sports bag.
34.4 grams of cocaine, 500 grams of cannabis, 1.5 litres of liquid fantasy, 5 rounds of ammunition and $30,000 in cash were also allegedly seized along with scales, clip seal bags and glass pipes.
A 31-year-old Rochedale South man has been charged with three counts of possessing dangerous drugs, one count of possessing dangerous drugs (schedule 1 of or exceeding schedule 4), one count of possessing dangerous drugs (Schedule 1 of or exceeding schedule 3), one count of possess relevant substance, one count of possess tainted property, one count of possess property suspected to be proceeds of an offence under the Drugs Misuse Act, one count of possess property suspected used in connection with the commission of a drug offence, one count of possess ammunition and one count of contravene order.
The man was refused bail to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court today, Monday January 31.
