A police motorcycle rider has been taken to hospital following a crash at Noarlunga Downs.
Just before 9pm on Tuesday 16 July, a police officer had stopped the driver of a Hyundai sedan on Goldsmith Road for breath test. A Ford sedan travelling west in the left hand lane crashed into the police motor cycle which then struck the police officer.
The police officer was taken to the Noarlunga Hospital with minor injuries while the driver of the Ford, an 81-year-old man from Port Noarlunga was also taken to the same hospital to be medically assessed.
Investigations into the crash are continuing.
