A 30-year-old male Constable from the North Coast Region has been served with a notice to appear in relation to alleged misuse of a restricted computer and unlawful use of confidential information offences.
The alleged conduct has occurred whilst on duty.
The member has been suspended with pay from the Queensland Police Service and is expected to appear in the Maryborough Magistrates Court on October 21, 2024.
In keeping with our commitment to high standards of behaviour, transparency and accountability, we have undertaken to inform the public when a member of the Service faces serious allegations of misconduct.
This does not mean that the allegations against the member have been substantiated.
