Police officer stood down, Intelligence and Covert Services Command

A 35-year old male senior constable from Intelligence and Covert Services Command has been stood down from the Queensland Police Service.

The officer is subject to allegations of driving under the influence of alcohol and unlawfully using a motor vehicle. The officer has been served with a notice to appear in the Beaudesert Magistrates Court on January 20, 2020 charged with drink driving.

In keeping with our commitment to high standards of behaviour, transparency and accountability, we have undertaken to inform the public when an officer faces serious allegations of misconduct. This does not mean that the allegations against the officer have been substantiated.
