Police are investigating the death of a child in Innisfail this afternoon, November 25.
Officers responded to reports of a child found unresponsive in a vehicle at a Rankin Street address around 1pm.
Upon arrival, emergency services provided medical assistance however the child was declared deceased.
Investigations are continuing, a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
